My Favorite 2WIN! Moment

I’m always pleased and a little surprised when the class takes over my job for me.  It was my final class in Moscow, and there was one participant that purposely avoided all of our techniques and advice.  When it came time for a final presentation, she avoided all limbic techniques, ignored all structure suggestions, and talked only of features, not benefits.  It was not a good presentation.  When it came time for critique, I was at a loss for words.  She stated that she wanted people to see a great demonstration without any “tricks!”

The class immediately took over, first calling the presentation awful, and then stepping in to collectively restructure the presentation.  They changed to focus to benefits, added limbic elements, and made the presentation connect to the prospect.  It was so much fun watching this class of enthusiasts applying their new-found skills.  It was a great learning experience for everyone and I didn’t have to say a word.
